Animal Meat

Leviticus 1:1~8 │ The Lord called Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting, saying, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them,

‘When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of livestock from the herd or from the flock.’” (1~2)

During the forty-year wilderness journey, the Israelites faced countless difficulties. Even though their scars surfaced, God changed them into blessings. God also gave the Israelites many covenants and fulfilled them. In addition, God actualized spiritual matters and fed the Israelites spiritual food of life and physical food. Right now, you are walking on the  wilderness

path called “life.” What is the covenant that you must grab hold

of within this journey?

1.Food Consumed in the Wilderness

God told the Israelites who were walking on the wilderness path to consume

food that led to spiritual victory. By capturing a ram; applying its blood;

and eating the meat, God wanted them to always remember the blessings of

the Exodus that they had received. By holding onto the covenant of the Exodus that took place after applying the blood of the ram, the wilderness path became

a field where spiritual matters were fulfilled.

2.Food Consumed in the Tabernacle and the Tent

God made the Israelites who were on the wilderness path eat the food in the Tabernacle. Inside were the Ark of the Covenant which was the promise of life; the bread and light of life; the incense and water that saved lives; and the courts and anointing oil. In addition, God made them give the burnt

offering because He wanted the Israelites to obtain strength in order for them

to gain victory in the wilderness.

Furthermore, God made them eat that food inside their personal tents.

The Israelites also ate the food that was offered for the burnt offering to remember its meaning; to gain strength to continue on their journey; and

to save the posterity.

If you hold onto the eternal covenant given by God, He will work and give you

the one-hundred-year answer.

You who are within this journey must eat the bread of the covenant of the

Exodus that saves you, the bread of the Tabernacle that fulfills

God’s Word, and the bread of the tent that saves the posterity

and the field.
