REMNANT JOURNAL (2021-07-08)
A Life That Is Unseen to the Eyes
John 21:17│ He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.”
Ways of thinking and values that you learn as a child are difficult to change once you reach adulthood. Content that is placed in the brain of an infant will greatly influence its entire life. Then, as a parent or adult, what must you instill within the posterity?
1.Parents and Children Who Are Both Sick
Parents who misunderstand by thinking that they can live without God end up instilling different and wrong ideas in their children. Parents teach their children that they themselves are the most important which allows them to do whatever they please. Parents also teach children that they can succeed as long as they have money. However, mankind who has left God can never fill their empty hearts and escape from their anxious conditions.
2.The Most Important Time
It’s absolutely imperative to relay spiritual aspects to infants before they begin to receive knowledge and information from the world. When Jochebed relayed the Gospel to her infant son Moses; when Hannah gave her son Samuel to God; and when Jesse entrusted the flock of sheep to his son David, they relayed the most important covenant to their next generation.
Starting from early childhood, you must help children experience and enjoy the mystery of prayer, in order for them to communicate with God. You must help them to quietly think and focus, as well as relay and make them memorize Bible verses in order to imprint the Gospel.
